Changes to OpenAg App#

With the introduction of Vue 3, many parts of the site had to be retouched to work with the new update.

New Features#

Filters and Controls

  • Simplified how controls are displayed

  • Added “Clear All” to removed all active controls

  • When a comparison model run has been selected, it will not be removed when switching tabs

Charts

  • Added column for base values for corresponding crop

Map Viewer

  • Added better readability when hovering

  • Chart will appear with a comparison to the base case value of that region

  • Pop up message (Off by default) a new setting that displays the region’s information when hovering over it

  • Map will change colors depending on the map value selected

    • A region with no data will be displayed with no color

  • Added ability to select regions and disable all non-selected regions

  • Added ability to compare runs

  • Added Normalization toggle

    • NOTE: When Normalizing with Land selected for map value the result will appear as 1

Summary Table
  • Added ability to import and compare different runs

    • By default the base case will be shown

Table Tab
  • Added comparison mode to import other runs

    • Toggle for showing the difference from imported and current viewing scenario. By default, the base case will be shown

  • Added download function

    • After downloading, a row will have values for its model run and base case

Forgot/Change Password

  • Forgot password button has been added to login screen

  • Change your password by going into the settings after signing in

Table Viewer

  • Certain model runs will not have the ability to create scenarios. When this happens a new page will be shown instead that that allows to view solved model scenarios in a table format.

  • Compare with the base case with an interactive chart that has the ability to change dynamically and allow for regions filitering

Bug Fixes#

  • Error message will display when trying to add both a comparison model run and changing the baseline. This was an unintended action and will lead to false/incorrect data being shown

  • Make Model Runs: When clicking on a region, the page will no longer grow instead the regions will be a scrollable list.
